Privacy & Security Policy

Learn how we protect your clinical diagnostic data, personal details, and prescriptions.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Personal Information Collection

We collect personal details such as name, age, phone number, and gender during doctor appointment bookings or diagnostic tests. When you upload a prescription, we capture the file attachment and store it securely on our servers to determine medical test requirements.

2. Diagnostic Records Protection

Your pathology, radiology, or cardiology test reports are treated with high confidentiality. Digital copies of reports are only transmitted to your registered mobile number via WhatsApp or delivered to the patient or their authorized representative at the clinic counter.

3. File Upload Security

All prescription files uploaded to `uploads/prescriptions/` are assigned unique randomized names immediately. This prevents directory crawling, execution of scripts, or unauthorized access by third parties.

4. Third-Party Sharing

Kundu Pathology & Diagnostic Centre does not sell, trade, or distribute your healthcare profiles or contact details to third-party marketing companies. Data is shared only with the consulting doctor you have scheduled appointments with.

5. Data Retention

We retain clinical database records and uploaded files to facilitate subsequent health profile tracing. If you wish to have your database records or uploaded prescriptions permanently expunged, please send a written request or call our administrative team.
